Byzantine Silver Earring

Earrings sterling silver, 22 carat gold plated..

Silver plates were shaped by hand-cut and -hammered by a grand bazaar craftsman who in his childhood , had spent a lot of time in Istanbul archeology museum because of his mother's duty.

Master was inspired by the various ornaments used in churches, monuments, plates and banners in the Ottoman and Byzantine empires, witnessed by the historical peninsula.

The symbol on this earring was inspired by the late period Byzantine Constantinapolis ornaments after Hagia Sophia.
