HOW TO USE COPPERS IN DECORATION
Hello! It's been a while since I last wrote.. This week, I'll share where and how we can use copper objects, my favorite items in decoration. How can we take copper pieces out of the cabinets, where they are typically kept as everyday tools, and display them ? I'll be sharing these ideas with you.
Staying in the same arrangement for a long time makes people want to make small changes in their home decor.
If you don’t have the time or resources for big ones, no worries! Let’s freshen up your home together with a few copper items. What do you think?
Copper has a place in our culture; it was often used in kitchens by our grandmothers in the past. While copper kitchenware is becoming trendy again today, materials like Teflon and stainless steel are still more commonly used...
Up to this point, you might be thinking, alright, but who will clean the used copper pans, pots, or milk jugs? Believe it or not, it's easier than you think! After learning how to incorporate copper into our decor, I’ll also discuss in another part of the series how to clean our copper items.
Section 1: DECORATING WITH COPPER IN THE KITCHEN
I will share with you the copper arrangements that I have applied in my own home and have seen on other insta accounts. Don’t think of copper as an expensive material. For example, I bought some of my copper items at flea markets for a fraction of the price. You can renew your old copper pieces with minimal care and use them in your decor.
Here we go!
You will need at least two copper pieces for this project.
I love seeing copper most in the kitchen. If you have a small shelf on the wall, you can use it for this arrangement. If you have enough space on your wall, you can even use multiple shelves stacked on top of each other. To create a striking look on a single shelf, it’s better to arrange your copper items on a clear wall that is easily noticeable from a distance, rather than in a hidden corner of the kitchen.
The copper color really stands out when paired with Blue Blanc plates. Instead of Blue Blanc, you can also use turkish ceramic bowls or blue dishes that you have at home.
